There is no end of the hype being generated currently for Mahesh Babu’s much awaited film One-Nenokkadine directed by Sukumar. The biggest hit in Telugu so far has been wrested by Pawan Kalyan’s recent film Attharintiki Daredi after which now all eyes are on Prince Mahesh Babu’s latest movie. While AD garnered close to Rs.75 crore, it has to be seen now whether Mahesh can break the first 100 crore barrier in Telugu!

Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ first day collections rewrite history! The movie which was released yesterday has created new opening day collections record and trade pundits predict that Attarintiki Daredi could top the Tollywood history table as well.As per the information given to us, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ has set a new Day1 record for Andhra Pradesh with a share of about 10.72 Crores.

With Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daredi getting ready to finish its 100 days run at box office by January 4th, some interesting discussions are going on in Film Nagar. That too some posters pasted all over the state are turning heads now.
Special 100 days posters of Attarintiki Daredi now adore the whole of media bringing a festival color to tinsel town. Written and directed by Trivikram, AD created magic at box office by collecting more than what previous industry hit 'Magadheera' collected. Though there are contrary reports about the final collections, many trade analysts agreed with 85 crores as final figure of the gross collections. However, what is surprising is that the 100 days posters released on web are not having any numbers, but the posters pasted on walls in cities and towns read '100 years history, 100 crore wonder' (100 samvatsarala charitra, 100 kotla prabhannjanam). So what does it mean?
Is producer BVSN Prasad trying to say that the final gross collections of Attarintiki Daredi have collected 100 Crores? If so, why is that not printed on posters given to media houses? Analysts say that there is no way AD could have collected 100 Crores even if satellite rights and audio rights prices are included. It has beaten the previous first week record by miles and the talk about it surpassing Magadheera's full run share turned out to be the hottest topic in trade. However, AD's dream run was affected to due to bandh call in Seema, Andhra regions. Collections on Friday were very less as the film was screened in very few theaters.
Most of the theaters in Rayalaseema (Ceded) didn't screen single show on Friday and the effect of bandh was also visible in Uttarandhra (Vizag area). Agitations are still going on in Seemandhra region and Attarintiki Daredi Saturday collections too might not be in sync with its first week run. However, the film is running to packed houses in Nizam. All shows on Saturday and Sunday are either full or 90% full already in all the multiplexes.
Ranbir Kapoor's Besharam failed to impress and that is helping Attarintiki Daredi to be the first choice film for Hyderabad multiplex audience. If the situation in Seemandhra comes to normal from Monday, then Attarintiki Daredi can expect a decent second week share. Or else it will find tough to beat Gabbar Singh all time share, forget about Magadheera. Also it will face competition from Ramayya Vastavayya from third week, which is going to replace AD in many theaters as per pre release agreements.

Although Attarintiki Daredi is rocking all over with never before collections and creating wonders at the box office, it has generated a fear in many Telugu producers and directors due to pre release piracy. Despite that Attarintiki Daredi managed to score a blockbuster, but that won't be possible for every film. If a film's piracy copy is out prior to the release then it would kill the curiosity factor as well as bring down the expectations in many cases.
Attarintiki Daredi is an exception and not every film can stand and come out as a winner after facing such a jolt. As one of the unit members was reason for AD piracy, producers are worried about thieves among their team. Now the piracy market has seen an opportunity to steal the content prior to the release. They have made crores of business on AD and therefore they will try to grab the prints before release through their own means.
If any producer doesn't take immense care, then there will be chance for the film to come out before release. Hence, producers are being extra cautious and taking utmost care about their product now. Especially if the film is riding on high expectations then the producer must be alert all the time. Not every film can rise from the ashes, so better save it before it catches fire!
It may not be completely appropriate to call it ‘Copied’ because our writers and directors take ‘Inspiration’ from many Hollywood and other Korean, Japanese films to prepare some wonderful tracks for our Telugu films. Most talented trivikram srinivas is also the same and the most clicked episode of Badam Tree with Brahmanandam in ‘Atharintiki Daaredi’ is a complete lift from the Hollywood movie ‘A Thousand Words’ starring Eddie Murphy.

Our popular cine analysts always unravel such secrets behind the screen and this time Trivikram’s creativity resembled that of Srinu Vytla in this Badam Tree sub-plot just meant to provide ample fun.
