After AD Samantha picks Manam

Heroine Samantha is one of the busiest actresses around in Telugu film industry. The actress does many films simultaneously and most of them have been working for her commercially currently. But the actress on her part chooses only a few films as special despite working on so many films. It doesn’t mean that the actress doesn’t want other films of her succeed, she signs them to be success but even among the successful one’s she knows only a few have what it takes to be special.
Earlier in the year she clearly favored Atharintiki Daredi has the special one. Samantha has been extremely positive on the film and had a lot to say about it all the time because she felt that it had what it takes to be special. Now the actress seems to hinting at Manam to be the next special one among her repertoire. The actress recently shared that Manam is shaping up well and is looking forward to the film. She also had high praise for the director much like she had for Trivikram during the Atharintiki Daredi days. She says that the director Vikram is a seriously innovative guy. With these hints and sings of approval from Samantha looks like Manam is going to be a real treat for Akkineni fans when it hits the screens in February next year.

However, B. R. Chopra wanted Amitabh Bachchan to pair with Madhuri Dixit, but things did not materialize and he had to settle for Hema Malini. Interestingly, except NASEEB (1981) and SATTE PE SATTA (1982), whenever Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini have come together as romantic couple in the past the result has been disaster. Remember DO AUR DO PAANCH (1980); DESH PREMEE (1982); NASTIK (1983); etc. Hence, B. R. Chopra was little reluctant for the pairing but surprisingly this time destiny turned in favour of Chopra and the movie proved hit. 

In fact after BAGHBAN, the Amitabh and Hema pair became hit and the duo again starred in a hit film VEER-ZAARA (2004) together.

This now happening true with the Bellamkonda's project, Coming to the actually story Samantha was roped as the heroin in the debute film of Bellamkonda Suresh's son Bellamkonda Srinivas by offering a double remuneration to this heroin of Rs 2 Crores. And now Bellamkonda is adding some more hot flavours for this film, Samantha will be seen in a couple of lip locks and few wet songs in beach which she never till now in her career. this movie will be directed by VV Vinayak and music will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Bellamkonda Suresh is not at all compromising in the production part of this film

Ram Charan lost charm in his face due to excessive workouts and six pack abs that reflected in Toofan film. He got bad reviews for stiff looks and the young actor is quick to react. He has already put on few kilos and is looking good now. He is trying to come up with a rugged look in his new film.

Ram Charan is going to appear in a beard and spiked up hair in his next movie. He has already done a photo shoot to get the feedback about this look. Fans who saw a glimpse of Charan's new look are saying that his look is similar to that of Chiranjeevi's in Gangleader. Interestingly, Charan is playing a role that is similar to Gangleader in his next film, which will be directed by Krishna Vamsi.

This film is a family drama with enough commercial elements. Venkatesh will play Ram Charan's brother in this movie. Kajal is expected to team up with Charan in this untitled film. The shooting will start off in November and the movie will release in coming summer.

Can Attarintiki Daredi beat Magadheera record?

Pawan Kalyan's latest blockbuster Attarintiki Daredi has created history by collected a share of Rs. 47.74 crores in its first week. It has beaten the previous first week record by miles and the talk about it surpassing Magadheera's full run share turned out to be the hottest topic in trade. However, AD's dream run was affected to due to bandh call in Seema, Andhra regions. Collections on Friday were very less as the film was screened in very few theaters. 

Most of the theaters in Rayalaseema (Ceded) didn't screen single show on Friday and the effect of bandh was also visible in Uttarandhra (Vizag area). Agitations are still going on in Seemandhra region and Attarintiki Daredi Saturday collections too might not be in sync with its first week run. However, the film is running to packed houses in Nizam. All shows on Saturday and Sunday are either full or 90% full already in all the multiplexes.

Ranbir Kapoor's Besharam failed to impress and that is helping Attarintiki Daredi to be the first choice film for Hyderabad multiplex audience. If the situation in Seemandhra comes to normal from Monday, then Attarintiki Daredi can expect a decent second week share. Or else it will find tough to beat Gabbar Singh all time share, forget about Magadheera. Also it will face competition from Ramayya Vastavayya from third week, which is going to replace AD in many theaters as per pre release agreements.

Allu Arjun flirting with flops

Allu Arjun used to be the most calculated hero among the younger generation of heroes. He always banked upon the proved directors and stayed away from debutantes except for Arya. In the recent past he is only working with directors whose previous movies were flops. If we look at Allu Arjun's success ratio in the recent past, his gamble is not working in favor of him. Except Julayi all of his recent films were either flops or average movies.

Trivikram worked with Allu Arjun after delivering a dud like Khaleja. However, Trivikram's neatly knitted script worked in favor of Julayi and helped Bunny to grab a spot in the forty crore club. Later Allu Arjun took a risk by doing Puri Jagannadh's Iddarammayilatho and as expected Puri failed miserably. Allu Arjun worked with Gunasekhar who didn't live up to expectations and delivered a mega flop like Varudu.

Vinayak was in form before Badrinath, but he failed with Allu Arjun's film and missed a hat-trick opportunity. Now Allu Arjun is working with Surender Reddy, who had messed up Oosaravelli. But Allu Arjun is expecting Surender to deliver the goods like Trivikram did. Race Gurram is all set to join the pongal race and Bunny expects this film to give him a memorable hit like his previous pongal release Desa Muduru. 

Top singer receives underworld threat

Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam has been allegedly threatened by the underworld to cancel his deal with an event management company and sign up with another, purportedly chosen by them,.

The 40-year-old singer has informed the city police that he has been receiving a number of threatening phone calls and text messages from Chhota Shakeel, a close aide of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, for the past few days.
 
According to Sonu, Shakeel tried to coerce him to cancel a contract with an event management company and sign up with another firm chosen by the don. However, no FIR has been filed by him so far, police said, adding they received the complaint on phone.

The singer has entered into a contract with the event management firm to organise 'World Tour-2014', which Shakeel wanted to scrap. Last month, Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor had received death threats over the phone from an unidentified person, suspected to be linked to Ravi Pujari's gang.

Krishna rejects to act beside Venky & Charan

Super Star Krishna is also much more interested in this multi starrer project and liked the script which was narrated by director Krishna Vamsi. But Super Star Krishna rejected this offer as he is body won’t support him toact.
