The latest reports have it that the Enforcement Directorate on Fridayhas possessed alleged Ram Charan's plot in association with unearthing of multi-crore Emaar Township scam.
Charan has apparently bought a 1545 square yard plot in Boulder Hills of Manikonda in Hyderabad and has made the payment. But due to allegations that plots were sold at around 50,000 rupees per square yard, and only 5,000 rupees per square yard was shown in the accounts thereby incurring steep losses to the AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, ED has attached 19 plots of Emaar Hills Township and one among those attached is Ram Charan raising many eyeballs. Investigation is currently going on as it involved many other big wig names like Koneru Prasad's son, cricketer Chamundeswarinadh and others. The assets said to be worth of 72 crores has been attached by ED in the operation headed by city joint-director N Sridhar.
Of late, many opine that Charan is going through a rough ride both in his personal front and professional wise. After road-side brawl that took a severe beating on brand Ram Charan, his much awaited Bollywood debut Zanjeer tanked at Box Office. That's not all. Even his upcoming film Yevadu is yet to see the light of the day and stuck due to ongoing agitations due to bifurcation of the state. And with the latest news of ED cracking a whip on his property, more trouble is brewing for the Magadheera star.
